"Yeah, we're not doing that," I said.
"But this is something everyone in the Intergalactic Community can benefit from. We can learn from how you were able to win the war against the Maw," Reader said.
"Then send your troops. We'll show you how we did it. Granted, they won't return," I said, then hanging up the call.
I start going to the door. Sergeant Klutz, who was with me when we did the final assault on the Maw, approached me. "Why aren't we telling them?"
"How do we know if we could trust them? Look at what happened to us with the Maw. We decided to trust them in the beginning. By the time we realized that they approach new species with the intent of eating them due to their hunger, half of our population was gone. We were lucky to destroy them all with the people we had left."
"What are we going to do?" Klutz asked.
"We'll keep an eye out on what they do. If they try anything, we'll give them a warning."
Klutz stays, and I go to the command room. “Anything to report?” I ask.
“As of now, nothing,” the head of the command room replied.
“Good. Don’t keep your guard down. I don’t know if the Intergalactic Community can be trusted. We don’t know enough to make a decision on that.”
“Of course,” she said.
That’s the end of the video. I was expecting the human I spoke with would have said something about how they killed off the Maw. I guess he truly wants to keep it a secret. Perhaps this is the reason why the encryption for this video was easy to hack - the important stuff might be impossible to get. We might have to use force. - Reader
